Today was just too beautiful of a day to be sitting indoors so we loaded the car up with snacks and drinks and went on a little adventure to the Werribee Gorge.
Realizing pretty quickly that everyone in and around Bacchus Marsh had the same genius idea, we soon turned around to head to our old hidey hole - the Bacchus Marsh Weir.
How beautiful is my great niece Vienna Faye pictured here all ready for her adventure..
Sipping slurpees, music up, windows down just like old times, we soon arrived at the Weir.
The first thing we saw was this right in front of where we parked the car.
But that didn’t deter us from dipping our feet into the water just as we went there to do!
Jeanette took these precious pictures of me and Vienna.
Jeanette and I reminisced about old times here with the kids growing up.
And David did eventually join us once he watched the snake slither off into the long grass.
I am so thankful for these precious moments.
Vienna is already growing so fast, we need to be creating and capturing her all we can..
She is such a sweetheart.

That sounds like a lovely outing (well, minus the snake part)
