Inverloch 2024

David and I spent four days down the Victorian Bass Coast at a place that is very special to me.

Inverloch <3

We stayed at the Inverloch Hotel for $145 per night.

Although it was a cheap sleep we it didn't feel like it, and the beautiful palm trees out back really set the tone for our Summer Holiday away.

Our first night was spent shopping at their local foodworks in which had recently had a fire and so none of their fridges or freezers were working.

We got what we could but were very limited.

The first night we enjoyed dinner at the hotel, stayed up late playing Mario Party on the Switch that we bought with us and enjoyed every day!

Day two we stayed in bed just a little longer before getting up for breaky.

I took David out for a look at Venus Bay, it was a wet and windy day so we didn't swim and stopped in Tarwin Lower IGA to get what we couldn't get from Foodworks the day before.

Venus Bay didn't disappoint even in the cold and wet weather this place is really beautiful with its 20km beach which seems endless on both ways you look!

Day three was our most adventurous day taking a trip from Inverloch to Cape Patterson. The morning again was wet and windy but the weather really cleared up for us in the afternoon.

We stopped at little roadside views such as The Caves..

Eagles Nest..

Shack Bay..

and Twin Reefs..

Before arriving in Cape Paterson and doing the 2km trekk to the beautiful Rockpools which were the size for swimming pools..

Later that night David and I went to Andersons Inlet, a dog free beach to watch the sunset.

I took this photo of David in which I absolutely love!

And not long after we watched the sun go down on our last day in Invy..

I could never get bored of this place. It holds such sentimental value as a place I went as a child, a place I once took my children (see this post) and now showing David around for the first time was such a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

Until we meet again, Keep being the absolute Gem that you are Invy..
