First Besty Catch up for 2025!
I’m coming in my second week off work and recieved a text from my Besty Sharon to catch up for dinner!
I picked the place and Sharon booked the table!
We were finally able to exchange Christmas gifts and because I was waiting for her birthday gift to arrive via post I was also able to give her that as well.
We spoke of so many things, Christmas, New Years, Birthdays, my trip away, my desire to do a short solo trip.
I am so thankful to have a genuine friend just want to catch up on my time off.
It was a beautiful evening together..
Taco Bill Bacchus Marsh never disappoint!
Everything way yummy!

First BBL Game of 2025
Last night David and I joined with over 40,000 other Melbourne fans in attending the Melbourne Stars vs the Melbourne Renegades Big Bash League Cricket match.
Highlights of the night included Hilton Cartwright hitting a 121m six right at a critical time we needed it in last over, Ben Duckett getting the most runs for our team and Glen Maxwell grabbing a great catch!
The atmosphere was amazing and their innings break live performance from the Synphony really lit up the crowd.
The Mexican wave also had us all waving around the ground at one point also.
Our Melbourne star went in to win the game and players circled the MCG to sign autographs and pose in pics with their fans which I thought was awesome.
Here are some more photos of the night..
We are on the bottom of the ladder as is but we have won our last two so I’m happy!
Next game we have Sydney Sixers whom are top of the table.. I hope with everything crossed that we win!

First Family Dinner of 2025
Tonight the kids, David and I went to Watergardens Hotel for a buffet style (all you can eat) dinner.
Jie tried a few new dishes like the calamari, prawns and roast beef.
Nevaeh enjoyed the tenderness of the Mongolian beef, but spat out the roast parsnip she mistook for a potato!
David piled his plate with mostly meat, roast pork, roast beef, chicken wings, chips, nuggets and a dinner roll.
And well I had two plates of the Mongolian beef with fried rice and one plate of roast beef with potato and sweet potato!
I was too full for deserts but Nevaeh and David both had sticky date and Jelly while Jie had two bowls of sticky date pudding with ice cream and caramel sauce!!
But! I did enjoy myself a Pina Colada!

This or That: Chips or Chocolate
Chips when watching a good movie! My fave chips are the reject shop original crinkle cut chips from New Zealand. I find most chips have just way too much flavor but they are salty but not too salty.
Chocolate is a weakness, I don't often buy chocolate, but David knows my weakness and buys me chocolate at least once a week as a treat.
Between the two I would choose chips.
What about you?

NYE at Melton Entertainment Park
This year was our first year spending NYE at Melton Entertainment Park, advertised as the biggest NYE party in the West!
David, Nevaeh and I enjoyed the DJ and had a bet on the trots! We met up with my friend Amina and met her husband and daughter for the first time!
We had some dinner and waited sooooo long for Chocolate M&M donut balls but they were so good once we did get them!
Jie had to work but it was awesome to bring in the new year with my little fam bam!
I think we will do this again next year!!
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
