What an awesome year 2025 was!

Christmas Day 2025

This was what we had for Christmas dinner (When I finally could be bothered cooking).

We pulled bon-bons, told jokes, wore party hats and Christmas glasses, played charades and read out and answered what would you rather questions all while enjoying our food.

And best of all we had an absolutely stress free, quiet and enjoyable day together just the four of us.

Best Buys 2025 {Christmas Gift Edition}

Christmas this year was very chill.

After spending a full night of creating "Christmas Land" while playing Theme Park Tycoon on Roblox the night before I didn't get up on Christmas Eve until around 2pm.

David worked Christmas Eve and came home early and we watched Look Who's Talking Now.

Christmas Eve we picked up Nevaeh's friend Chloe up to join us this year and enjoyed Starbucks and Christmas Light Looking.

Early hours Christmas Morning Nevaeh was very eager to open her gifts so David, Nevaeh and I gathered around the Christmas Tree to begin opening our gifts to each other.

At this time Jie was asleep in bed and was too tired to join us although Nevaeh and I tried very hard to get him involved in the early morning festivities.

This year we bought 4 gifts for each other but a few days before Christmas I went and did a sneaky late night shop at Kmart and spent another $400 on David and the Kids for Christmas.

After David, Nevaeh and I took turns of opening our gifts for each other we proceeded to take Jie's gifts into his room and have him open them on his bed!

Here were some of our gifts to each other this year:

Nevaeh received an Ella and Earth Bag for School next year.

Jie got Nevaeh this encouraging Christian print.

I got Nevaeh this Charger for her phone and headphones.

I got these bracelets for Jie and I.

Nevaeh and Jie received a large Gum Ball Machine each for their Desks.

Nevaeh received a hair straightening brush.

Nevaeh wanted these Nommi's more than anything this year so Jie, David and I bought her one from each of us in the above colours.

I also got Nevaeh this old school but modern Alarm clock in which Jie also wanted.

Nevaeh's face lit up when she opened these Uggs. Also for School next year.

Nevaeh bought David these watches and he in turn also bought her a smart watch!

I bought David this brand new 2025 Storm Top and Nevaeh gifted him the two Melbourne Stars Tops pictured below..

I bought Jie a few books to add to his book case this year including these titles:

Jie and Nevaeh both received Nerf Guns this year because honestly, no one is ever too old for Nerf!

David loved his new customized wallet pictured below and couldn't wait to show it off to his work mates in the lunch room once he returned back to work.

Jie received a Grinch Oodie similar to this one in which he has been wearing everyday since Christmas! This was a great buy for him!

Jie also received a massive beanbag in which him and Nevaeh use daily! Just this morning Nevaeh enjoyed her coffee on it while watching an episode of Stranger things!

Jie also absolutely loved his TIKI cup which resembles the fella off Night at the Museum. This went well with his Gumball machine as the quote in the movie says “You dumb dumb, give me gum gum!”
