This weeks Yarning Circle bought community together with some good ‘ol home made cooking!
Everyone bought something in to share. From platters to soup, pasta dishes, stir fry and even yummy caramel and custard tarts.
Uncle Paully whom was scheduled in for later in the month popped in and did a 45 minute sesh with community. He shared so many beautiful aspects of his culture including artworks, dreaming stories, music and dance.
I just want to express my love and thankfulness to Uncle Paully and to Kirrip’s counsellor Lita for demonstrating the Aboriginal animal dancing to our group today and thank all of community whom bought something in to share with us all today.
Next fortnight we are off to Ballan for some outdoor fun!
Stay tuned!
