Mock Fish

A childhood memory both my husband and I share is one of our fathers making Mock Fish.

1 egg
 2 medium potatoes peeled
1 tablespoon of Flour
half an onion
half a stick of carrot (as an extra)

You'll Need:
Chopping Board
Large Bowl
Frying Pan

  • Grate Potatoes and carrot
  • Finely slice and chop half an onion
  • Add to bowl and mix in egg and flour
  • Shake some salt and pepper
  • heat oil in a pan
  • add a spoon full or more to the pan and squish down
  • cook until brown (and crunchy)
Trust me, it's a winner!!
