It was a beautiful 20 degrees in Ballarat earlier this week when we took a bus load of community to the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
I am in no way an "events planner" but I was so proud of the outcome of this day.
I was nervous right up until the day because I just wanted to make a memorable outing for our elders and attendees, most of which had never been there before.
There were many firsts throughout the day and fears conquered.
I also received great feedback from community and my co-worker afterwards.
We are now looking forward to our Christmas Party later in the month.
